The Palmetto Suite is a well appointed upper King bed studio style condo unit that has additional sleeping capabilities with it's sleeper sofa. If you are travelling with children, this unit can hold 2 adults and 2 children. It has it's owners personal touches added and also provides a work space. The screen covered double sliding doors lead you to an amazing outside relaxation space where the sounds of the ocean await. The fully equipped kitchenette will enable you to cook your own meals or heat up and store your leftovers from a meal out. The spacious bathroom, with a fully tiled walk in shower, will have the towels and toiletries and a hair dryer for your use. There is also a safe in this unit for your use. This unit feels more like a home than a vacation retreat. Breakfast is included with this accommodation from 7 - 9am (the last seating at 8:30 please) every morning with a prix fixe menu. Just ask us and we will show you the breakfast choices while you are on property. Cocolobo Resort, while it is situated ocean side, does not have direct beach access. However, white sandy beaches are at Half Moon Bay, which is within a short 5 minute stroll from property.

Our 7th time and we loved it!
This was our 7th trip to Roatán, and we have stayed in this apartment 6 times. That probably says everything about how much we enjoy it. The apartment is comfortable, well maintained, and perfectly located for enjoying the island. Everything is always clean and thoughtfully prepared, and it’s a place where we immediately feel at home when we arrive. The staff also deserve a special mention—they are consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive, and they truly make the experience even better. It’s clear they take pride in keeping everything running smoothly. After seven stays, we can confidently say this is our favorite place to stay in Roatán. We’re already looking forward to coming back again.

Just Booked Our Return!!!
I've been visiting Roatan for years, and Cocobolo has always been on my list of places to stay. We finally made it! WHAT TOOK US SO LONG!!! The room was perfect, as was the entire property.(wildlife, pool, and of course Lobo & Coco) Simple, quiet, and chill. The entire team was second to none! Cheryl/Misa/Johana/Gail/Cesar/Jose...the best! Cant wait for our return "home".

Being back at Cocolobo was not disappointing. We stayed longer this time but that only made it harder to leave and come back home to the snow. The room was beautiful and comfy, the hotel and pool area were peaceful and quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. The guests were also very nice, we had a lot of great conversations at the pool and a super fun trivia night. Loved walking to town for some great dinners and sometimes bringing lunch back to have by the pool. We are already planning our trip for next year. Thank you to all the staff, guests and owners for making this trip another great success. We are already looking into flights for next year.

Loved our time here!
We stayed for two weeks in Palmetto Bay and loved every minute of it. Could never get tired of the spectacular views. Sunsets were outstanding, got great pictures and had fun with everyone by the pool. The room had everything we needed and more. Appreciated the breakfast each morning. Everyone was very nice and easy to work with, specially Cheryl and Johanna (not sure if I spelled that correctly. The walk to West End was our daily exercise and there are numerous good restaurants and bars in the area. Would definitely go back to Cocolobo and hope that we can get this room again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great ocean view room!
This room had everything we needed for our week in Roatan. We so enjoyed the secluded feel and the “rainforest” feel and especially the deck with full ocean view. Sleeping with the sound of the surf was such a treat. Cocolobo is accessible to everything in West End. Our two favorite restaurants were just a stroll away (Loretta’s and Stowaway Gastro Pub). West End Dive Shop was great. Cheryl was so so helpful in planning this trip and while we were there.
We enjoyed having you and the family Mary Jane. Hope to see you again!
